My go-to hoops from Express.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n You know the saying: the bigger the hoops… But for real, that saying is the worst, and I love me some oversized hoops. *Hair flip. They give sooo much sass to an outfit! I especially love these earrings on women with extra voluminous hair. My hair is pretty thin in general, and even though I have a lot of it, I tend to only wear mine when it’s curly! There are also the smaller, thicker gold hoops. These tend to be my go-to earrings because they go with everything. I love these with my hair up, down, wavy, curly, etc. They always look good and they are on trend at the moment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stud Earring Styles<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/li><\/ul>Both of these little studs came from Express.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n Every woman and man with pierced ears needs a few pairs of these. They’re a great option if you have an outfit that is loud on it’s own and you don’t want the earrings to make it “tacky” or over the top. They also work great with hoodies, leggings, and a Starbucks cup. They’re versatile, don’t typically get caught on everything like hoops always do, and they are super cute. They make so many different shapes and styles now so you’re bound to find something you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Classic Pearls<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A classic: real Tahitian pearls.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n Ohhh pearls, something I didn’t wear until recently! I always associated pearls with an older, more mature generation. Well, I call BS on that! When worn properly, they can truly help elevate an outfit to that chic or sophisticated level. They’re subtle, but also tell people you’re a boss and you didn’t come here to play. Pearls are my typical choice when I opt for a more sophisticated look such as silk shirts, blazers, tailored dresses, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luxury Earrings<\/strong> (Versace, In My Case)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/li><\/ul>These reallllly don’t photograph well, but they’re stunning in person I promise!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n I mean, are we really surprised that I mentioned a Versace piece? I love them. Owning a nice piece of costume jewelry does make me feel some type of way. High end is even better if that’s in your budget, but don’t brush costume to the side quite yet! Make sure you do your research before investing in ANY type of costume jewelry. I’ve heard poor reviews on Chanel bling earrings where the diamantes fell off quite easily or the Herm\u00e8s bracelet’s varnish which gets damaged right away. Dior seems to have better quality costume jewelry, but I’m pretty happy with my Versace pieces. I impulse bought mine and while I don’t wear them as often as I’d like, I have no complaints! Also, trend alert on the asymmetrical pair! I do own a couple Givenchy earrings, too. They really aren’t worn too much either, but I’m a fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bottom row: all Express.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n Technically, we have a mix of chandelier, drop, and teardrop earrings here, but I feel like all of these are more of a night time look. I feel like this is when we can whip out these insanly long and bedazzled pieces, the giant chunky teardrop designs, or maybe some outrageous Cha-Nel logo earrings! Go off, sis, rock those earrings. As you can see, I have quite the ecclectic collection. Some, like the Givenchy pieces, are pretty low key and I’ve actually worn the black pair to work a few times while others, like the glitter teardrops, are just a statement piece on their own. I’m a fan of glitter on my evening earrings, especially since I have long, black hair. I feel that it’s a great combo, but let’s be honest , I’d still rock those glitter babies with a high pony. No shame ladies, no shame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especially with the state of our world and economy right now, it’s very important to help our community and shop local! But let’s be real- they make it REALLY easy for us to shop local! I mean, I love the creations! The originality is off the charts, they’re super cute, and I love that they are hand crafted. Definitely look into some shops around you or check out the ones that I’ve purchased from! Also… Peep at my cat, Cas, in the background on the top left photo above.
