The plan is to continue to do these monthly. \ud83d\ude42 I&#8217;m a big fan of a capsule wardrobe; it&#8217;s what I focus my Personal Shopping business on! A capsule wardrobe means having quality, key pieces for every season that all go together and can be worn time and time again. Quality over quantity is definitely the mantra here. If you follow me on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mademoiselle_tessa\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a>, you&#8217;ve already seen me wear this blouse and I&#8217;ve mentioned it in other blog posts as well. There is a certain appeal to wearing timeless pieces and looking classy, effortless, and incredibly well put together. It&#8217;s also a style that I think varies from city to city. Parisian chic vs New York chic are two VERY different styles, but they&#8217;re both flawless in my opinion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, for this look, I decided to keep it simple. To be honest, chic and silk go hand in hand, so there is nothing crazy here! I decided to trade in my usual pair of heels for some pointy flats to keep it a bit more low key. Now this is where I can really give you some style tips! Rocker and silk aren&#8217;t really two words I ever thought I&#8217;d say in the same sentence, but here we are. I&#8217;m a huuuuge rock and metal fan and I&#8217;m no stranger to the rocker style. I thought it would be fun to incorporate such a classy blouse with an edgy style. This would be perfect for an after concert date or if you have to run from work to the show! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I decided to tie the silk blouse and turn it into a cropped fit in order to make it more edgy and less dressy. Adding the leather jacket on top helps hide the sleeves and, of course, gives it that bad b look. The attitude doesn&#8217;t hurt, either. \ud83d\ude09 I wouldn&#8217;t necessarily go front row and mosh like this, but it&#8217;s 100% seat and back row proof! Funny enough, this is very similar to one of the outfits I used to wear when I worked for corporate America. \ud83d\ude09 So, it&#8217;s already work approved! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I do enjoy a pencil skirt, but this one has a little pop of color which keeps things interesting. Plus, the white in the skirt helps tie the whole look together with the blouse. As for the blazer, I opted for a boyfriend style in order to give this outfit a bit of a breather since it&#8217;s so structured. Style tip: with any collared top and blazer combo, pop the collar out over the blazer. It looks more sophisticated, put together, and stylish. Casual?! YES! It can be achieved, ladies. I&#8217;ve already tested out this look a few times with different pants and shoes and I&#8217;m really digging it. It&#8217;s comfortable, elevated, but still casual. You can easily run errands in this or grab a quick last minute lunch with a friend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your sweater has a more of a high neck fit, make sure to pop out the collar like I mentioned in the &#8216;business&#8217; style. You can also see how I cuffed the blouse sleeves over the sweater, too.
